Description
Just playing with shapes, hard edges, and hard shadows. Came up with this fun style! Not too keen on the way Nymble turned out, but I think it works well for Dryft since he is already a very sharp shaped character.
It's really fun to play with simple styles like this and work with shapes, finding what shapes appeal to the eye and stand out.
I don't practice this stuff enough and felt like going out of my comfort zone tonight.
Let me know what your thoughts are! Even if it's as simple as I do or do not like it. Thanks guys!
I did this before working on their homework... yikes!

Nymble looks so... Fragile and Dryft looks as hard as a rock!

Awww thank you so much! And lol yeah Nymble looks like he's made of glass or something and may shatter if you throw a rock at him. Hahah.
I will experiment more in the future, thank you!

It got me wondering... What if there were paper crafts of Nymble and Dryfts or wyngro's in general... Then you can display them on your table... *3*
Looking forward to seeing your experiments! XD

Awwww, haha, I wish I were good at those! That would be awesome! I'd probably be better at doing clay models, personally though. XD

Nymble looks more wallaby-like here, hehe. I like them both, but Dryft does look better. Very interesting style!

Haha, he does! It's hard to use such sharp egdes on such a "round" and bubbley character, haha. Thanks man!

Hmm, not sure I care for this. Sorry. Nymble just looks weird like this. ;v;
This does remind me a little bit of a style someone I watch did recently. She called it "Monster Hunter icon style". Some examples of those icons:Β i.imgur.com/sMZU0Vs.png

Think it's just different. XD Haha.
I guess that style is also... kinda angular I suppose?

Thanks for the feedback! :]
I think Nymble just looks weird with the hard shadows and bright colors, haha.
