Description
Indiana Jones and his comic relief cowardly sidekick are looking for artifacts in the Valley of Kings. They discover the tomb of the blue dragon Khaldun, who ruled over Egypt after the collapse of the Old Kingdom. Little did they know that the dragon pharaoh isn't dead and mummified but actually just hibernating on his pile of treasures. I'd say it's still a better plot then the aliens in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, wouldn't you agree?Related content

Sure, we can even have a chase scene with an old biplane and afterwards, Indy can hide from the dragon in a fridge.

considering its size i imgine the dragon would just swallow the fridge along wih indy which he will than somehow survive...this would still be more beliveable than surviving the nuke while being near its epicenter

If this isn't an example of: "Let sleeping dogs lie". Then I don't know what is. Good job Indie, running around destroying priceless cultural artifacts. Here's your reward... An ancient, pissed off, dragon.Β

Well, movies this day are made with a budget of a few million dollars. You wouldn 't happen to have some of those around now would you?

Exactly. That's why they should add dragons.

Oh geez! Very nice balance of color and consistency of contrast throughout this drawlin. I also don't know what part I want to look at more because of the varying textures. "Sooo pretteeeee" doesn't cover it. Also, I like this dragons design, and it's colors matches so well with the various shades of gold. Β

As usual, Indy's just got his whip, his six-shooter, and his wits to get him out of this. I'd say that put him on about even chances with the dragon. Personally, the guy he should have hired for this is "Ricochet" Rick O'Connell.

Naturaly we'd have to have a fight scene where Indy uses his whip to swing around the scene and avoid the dragon.

Yes. So much yes. This would probably bring him back to his senses about selling his child to Disney...
Anyway on to the picture: very well done here. Indy seem to be saying 'What is it this time... oh. Well this is new...'
But I think I can see a slight error. In the hireoglyphs on the wall I can see Khaldun on the throne yet next to him I can see what looks like a human pharaoh being crowned. Same guy?

Never thought i'd say this but would make a much better story line than The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Dragon Empire...... <<< thats what I would have called it.
By the way there not called aliens, according to George Lucas there called "Interdmentional Beings"

We need a chase scene along the clouds between the dragon and Indy in a biplane.

What time period should this be set in? Crystal Skull was in the late 50s.
Do you think this should be in the same time period, or something different like the early-mid 60s?

I don't think we want to see an older, troubled and worn out Indy, it's not so much his personality that made the movies fun. It's the character concept of a dashing, romantic adventuring archaeologist we want to see.

games4355 In reply to Netarliargus [2013-06-15 17:30:03 +0000 UTC]
Well there's nothing we can do about that, unless your can live with a diligently motion-captioned Indiana like they did with Tron legacy.
Although Harrison Ford did say in a few interviews he would love to reprise his role as Indiana Jones.
And he's also going to be in Star Wars Episode VII (7).

The opening scene should be him racing against a truck full of Nazi's to get to the tomb first. *nod*
Of course it ends with the truck exploding or falling in a ravine...or better, fallin in a ravine and *then* exploding.
