I was drawing Spark, one of the chars from my older fics whom I haven't done in ages and wanted to revisit. And it dawned on me that he has all the earmarks of an Angsty Char. For fun, I made of list of them. Does your char fit one or more of these characteristics? They might be ... an ANGSTY CHARACTER.Edit: Thought of some more checklist items. XD

Angsty character checklist.....now that's a good pic idea. ^_- Geez, it scares me how many of these types of characters have been dominating the 'net. Especially Shadow copies/recolorations. *shudders at the thought* Too many...

-Similar Color to an official charachter: Well, Trecheon IS red... So similar color to Knuckles...
-Stripes like Shadow's: Well, Sorta, but they cover the whole spine.
-Unnecessary Hairdo: Non apicable
-Jewlery Trinket: ...Does his amulet count?
-Unusual eye color: Unless blue is unusual amonst Mobians...
-Depressed Expression: Well, only sometimes.
-Inticrate Markings: Well, On his Arms, If I feel like adding lots of detail...
-Facial Scars: Nope
-Robot limb: Yeah, both arms.
-Reletive of official charachter: Nope
-Primary occupation as an Assassin: Would a Bounty Hunter fit in with that?
-Conceled blade weapon: Blade weapon, yeah, but not conceled.
-Super Elaborate Shoes: ...Aww, crap...
-Angsty pic title: nope!
So, lota of those... and yet, Trecheon is a very happy guy, most of the time... odd...

Spark! I'd forgotten all about him! Now with nifty headband and facial scars for that extra flavour. And hang on, he came before Shadow. Thieves. n.n I'm liking his redesign, though.

I do love the colouring on this, though. You are so talented at compter colouring, even on a character sketch like this.

Though my main char doesn't EXACTLY fit the angsty profile in her main storyline...(until later...*evil smirk*) There are certain alternate universes where she definitely does...to varying degrees.
Especially the negative 'verse. Man, she has SERIOUS ISSUES in that one....(wears goth-like clothes, her forelock is more extreame, smoking two cigs at a time, her...ahem...'profession' {which will remain unexplained here in respect toward younger audiences...

Spark! S'been a while. To tell the truth, I've attempted to draw him before. But I look back and it just needs to be burned >_<. Say, is this how he's going to look in the next ficcy perhaps? According to your timeline, we haven't seen him in years! Well, he's obviously been out and about, wonder who or what the heck he tangled with that resulted in those scars.

Yeah, this was actually concept art, so I could work out how he looks now and what's changed. (And decide why he disappeared and why he's come back.) The biggest idea is actually that angsty title and the way his black markings are spreading across the rest of his body. The poor guy is sick.
And yes, I forgot to point out the knife! I edited that in. Thank goodness DA allows you to edit your pics. XD

Oooooh yeah! *is giddy* I remember you wrote a tragedy fic about Serena and Spike's kid having brain cancer and getting a nanite brain put in, and the nanites were from Metal Sonic. I remember a part that talked about how "Uncle Spark" was sick.
