New Sonic game coming out, and it doesn't have Sonic in it! It's called Shadow the Hedgehog, and he packs a gun. A GUN!! The idea so amused me that I drew this comic. For a video of Shadow in action with his gun, go here: [link]Much later edit: If you've never played Sonic Adventure 2, in the end of it, Shadow basically dies. The Shadow game has to retcon how he actually didn't die. Hence the joke.

He IS in the game, as a 'sidekick' character who follows you around babbling about shit while you're trying to complete your mission.
Except for a few of the evil paths, then he's part of a boss.

So, if Shadow had a gun back in Sonic Adventure 2, I take it that after going super, he'd just have shot the Biolizard.
Hm. I guess he would have needed a bigger gun than that.
And after the Biolizard's defeat, Shadow would obviously have shot space, because it was space that "didn't" kill him.
...although mostly it was gravity pulling him down to earth I guess. But it's pretty hard to shoot gravity, especially in space.
