I recently caught Mewtwo in Pokemon Leaf, and proceeded to OWN the Elite Four with him. I see now why Mewtwo is liked so widely in the Pokemon community (and why he wound up in Super Smash Bros Melee). Then I got to thinking ... he's a lot like Shadow. The escaped experiment and everything. So here's a pic of them griping about the way their writers created them. XDRelated content

After learning about Shadow extensively, I came to a conclusion that Shadow is VERY similar to Mewtwo.

2) Both of their female friends died and caused them both trauma
3) Their memories have been altered by science

6) Created by science using the DNAs of powerful beings
