I was positively THRILLED when my good friend came to me, asking for help designing a foo dog character!She had a basic half canine half lion shape she wanted me to go for, and she layed out some basic "cool" toned colors that she wanted me to work with. I was free to go from there, and MY GOD IT WAS SO MUCH FUN.
I went on to invent a little concept for her character as well! This guy is yet unnamed, but he is a deity who has the ability to sift between different dimensions and planes of consciousness, feeding on the nightmares of creatures around him! His physical eyes are rarely open, as his "sight" depends on the golden eye on his forehead ornament. This Eye comes in handy when seeking out little tears in the fabric of the dimensions he travels through.

Character and concept were designed for and commissioned by Ennai. Both are her sole intellectual property, and are not to be used or copied by anyone else.

I love every last detail and the colors are wonderful! The way his mane and tail move and flow with the gradient is just perfect.

Oh my god I'm so happy to hear how pleased you are with the design! I don't believe there was a single moment of working on this that I did NOT enjoy to the fullest! It was so therapeutic, artistically, to just pump out my creativity and have little limitations to stunt my ideas at all!
