I had this idea floating in my head about an ATLA/Little Mermaid crossover. But then I thought, "No, too overdone and simple." ...Then, I ended up doing a deviation about an underwater theme. Forget the Little Mermaid, I have a whole new plot in mind.

Aarghh, the idea for a Zutara fic is swirling in my brain. But I want to make a comic about it. But I already have a Zutara comic in the works. But that project's come to a halt because, for the life of me, the daunting and tedious task of creating a background brings out the procrastinating monster. >_<

About this little scene:
Zuko was thrown overboard (by accident, on purpose - details not really worked out, yet), and is in the obvious danger of drowning since he'd never learned how to swim.
Katara, the water-dweller, swims up to him and says she can save him if he promises to give her his most valued possession.
Thinking he's hallucinating before sleeping within death's embrace, he agrees as he slowly fades from consciousness.

Ridiculously corny, I know, but I can't help it. :3

Oops, gotta add that Zuko and Katara look extremely red on my monitor and must be on yours, also. I know I've ignored the fact that objects become slightly duller in the ocean, but I needed a contrast of passion vs. calmness.
