TFA remake of this .had the great idea of taking the old, the new, the good, and the bad infamous Transformers scenes we all know at love and remaking them in the Animated style . I thought I'd give it a go and damn was it tougher than I thought! @__@
And totally worth it.
I felt like I gained a lot by working on this. Yeah, I draw robots a lot, but I feel like I took some major jumps in Photoshop while coloring this and I can proudly say I enjoyed this one until the end.
'Cept the explosions... 'Cuz I got lazy. HAVE SOME GLOW EFFECTZZZZ!
EDIT: Fixed a few mistakes and cleaned up some spots.

The Transformers comic, "Infiltration." I'm sure if you did a little digging around on google, you'd find it. Other than my crappy rendition verses the amazing cover, its the same cover save the Bumblebee on it is from G1.

One thing's for sure; I never would have thought of curving the ground like you did, but it works very nicely. The "oh slag" expression is wonderful.

I actually tried a completely different style of coloring than my usual stuff. I painted in CMYK (something I've never done) and used about 5-8 layers for each object--something I haven't done in a LONG time!

Hey, while looking at this I forgot to mention, instead of using the Pen Tool, just click and hold down shift to create a straight line between two points. Keep moving to the next adjoining line while keeping shift held down to continue your line...Let shift go to break it and start anew at a different spot.
Sorry if you already know this, it just occurred to me.
