glad you like it. I don't usually allow copies of my work to be created / users in any way but seeing as this isn't a particularly fantastic shot feel free Just credit the original image if you upload it anywhere.

Amazing shot. It's really an amazing bird too.
The colors are awesome in this one, and. I also love how it's beak doesn't look all smooth and shiny, but more rugged and jagged like it really is.

Very nice
How come your shots are so much clearer/more in focus/less noisy than mine

thanks gad you like it
noise comes from not metering your scene correctly or shooting on a fast ISO (ISO 400+ etc). Focus is down to practice and is dependant on what you are shooting. Its also down to what apperture and shutter speed you use. Unsharp shots can result from:
- too slower shutter speed
- to wider apperture (f2.8 etc where only a very small portion will be in focus)
- subject can be moving
- ISO is very fast and thus loss of quality can make things look unsharp
hope this helps

Nice Shot....Should of blured the background a little more. Would of made for a better background if you couldn't tell what it is.

true, but I wouldn't of had so much detail on the bird Up close at full zoom you can see every crack in the toucans eye
looks like orange peel lol.

Its not about focal length its down to the apperture. I shot this at about f/8 I believe to make sure that the beak and eyes were both in sharp focus. A smaller apperture would result in a more blurred background but beacuse of the depth of field, not all areas of the toucan would of been sharp. Parts of the bird further away would also be softer/blurred
