Description
i desire to make a tinier rat than this. really the only reason i made it this big was because the glass beads were the tiniest ones i had. maybe next time i will make eyes out of polymer clay.slightly under 1 1/2" tall.
medium: cernit, fimo, sculpy and primo polymer clays. the whiskers are fishing line of sorts i think. wire wrapped in foil for kind of an armature. little glass beads for eyes.
some of my other sculptures...

I have wanted to make molds of my sculptures for some time now and I have done a bit of resurch on it. I have not experimented on making molds yet though. It is a thing for the future! C:

Just a question, when did you put the fishing line whiskers in?

I make holes in the clay with a needle where I want the whiskers to go. I then finish and bake the sculpture. Then I use superglue at the end of each whisker and poke them into the holes. ^^

I poked holes where the whiskers were to go before I baked it, then after I superglued 'em in.
Thank you!

Fantastic!! I am so excited for this, to have something other than my picture sitting by my bed to remind me of him is gonna be so wonderful! It's funny my hubby asked if I was gonna have you sculpt him eating a super worm, he he he! He loved those things but got this crazy mad look in his eyes because they sqirmmed so much even after he took a big bite! LOL. but he really loved is crackers so that is what I want him to have. Thanks for your amazing talent to be bringing my Max to life!

lol Mine also like to eat worms but my ladies have a tendency to hate how slimy they are. There is always a lot of wiping of little rat hand on everything!

Yes I remember the wiping of the slimy little hands, very silly.

I LOVE THIS!!!! If i needed 5 of these mediums made, do you do a deal on multiples...if i paid for all of them at once? No wings or anything. All are simple colors...1 is all black dumbo, 1 is a black hooded fancy, 1 is a brown berk dumbo, 1 is a brown hooded fancy, and the last is an odd eyed variegated brown fancy. Just figured I'd ask. And also do you have an email? i sent this picture and your new one of 'Jasper' through the Rats Lovers club/rescue I'm part of, because I couldn't believe how amazing they were, and I've had a few people ask how to get a hold of you for possible orders. I sent them your commissions pricing and they asked how to get in touch. We all love our rats and for those, like my 5 above, they have changed our lives and it would be nice to have a physical reminder(although i have a tattoo of the brown berk on my shoulder).
Also with the medium ones...do they only come in this position or could I have them standing or laying?

~> [link]
Позвольте мне знать, если у вас есть какие-либо вопросы.
Я действительно надеюсь, что перевод слова мои не слишком неловко.

I believe I used a T-pin to create the texture on this sculpture.
Thank you so much!
