Oh yes. Mortar is one of my favorites. I think she's adorable, especially with her freckles.

More people in fiction should have freckles. Skin in most genres is too perfect to be believable IMO. A good amount of people I know have freckles, though most are pretty light. Stormy had freckles when she was turned young once.
