Description
This is a gift for for his help in getting me a subscription! Thanks man! This is just the pencil drawing. I was so eager to get it up here that I didn't want to wait until I inked it... Plus, I have a horrible tendency to destroy my drawings by inking them
Hope you like it! (How can I go wrong with a dwarf!)

I used to do free requests, and I still would... but I just don't have the time to do it now, sorry.
Once I get some free time to draw then I will start doing the free requests again.

Hmm, I was wondering if I could get a friend of mine to throw some colours on this one, even if it isn't inked.

Absolutely! I always enjoy it when others color my stuff. Mostly because it makes it look so much better

I like the way the pencils look too... but ink looks more professional somehow.
My pencils seem to have a sort of life that doesn't carry over to the inked product. I'm not sure why... maybe because when I work with pencils I can afford to make mistakes, and so I am more liberal with my expression. When I ink a drawing, I tend to be very meticulous... focussing so hard on each line that I fail to make all the lines work together as a whole. And so it drains the life from my drawing.
I've gotten a bit better over the years (not that I've practiced nearly enough), but I still say my pencils are better off left alone by me.
Sorry if that was confusing... I can't sleep and I'm in a weird mood.

I don't think that it was confusing! I have to say again...that I really know what you mean because I think the same! But, hehe. You remember? You can explain and descripe all these things/thoughts way better than me!
But if I draw it's the same! Pencils are easier to handle because yes, you can make mistakes and it's okay because you can correct the lines. But with ink...holy shit! I told you was happend with the picture of Talon! I'm still angry about it because I have to draw it again. I think you HAVE to be very meticulous by inking a drawing because it should look great. Maybe more great or more clean than a pencil drawing...
But I still think that this picture is awesome!!! You did the dwarvish anatomy so well! (A barrel with short legs! Hehe...) And I still love the shades!!! I'm a very big fan of pencil drawings!
You couldn't sleep??? I'm sorry for that! Take a nap later!
