Description
Despite being truly months away, preparation work at full swing for the event in advance. The railway's resident GWR 4-6-0s of Modified Hall No. 6988 'Swithland Hall' and Star No. 4013 'Knight of St Patrick, with the younger Hawksworth locomotive selected as the main locomotive while the older Churchward Star has been chosen to become one of two stand-by locomotives in case the Modified Hall is declared a failure. The third locomotive has been confirmed to be a visitor to the line but no word given what class the visiting locomotive will be but there is belief it's another GWR locomotive, most likely another 4-6-0.

At the same time, the carriage and wagon department have been hard at work preparing the line's preserved postal vehicles, which include the line's only GWR Siphon G, as well as fit them with their name boards.
