Tri-ang Railways 8 'Highlander' class 4-4-0 No. 9 "Neilson" (on loan to the Dark Railway since 1930) scalding unique 4-8-2 "Mountain" type No. DR1202, better known as "Big Bob" or "Robert", after causing damage to the quarry up at Soma and threatening the Hawthorn Leslie twins No. 1 'Theo' and 2 'Otto', c.1946. Despite a reputation of being something of a bully, Neilson became the only locomotive on the whole railway that could control DR1202. After this, the board made the decision due to several factors to dispose of DR1202 to Eastleigh for scrapping while on the same DR1202 was removed from the DR, Neilson was formally returned to TR after 16 years loaned to the company instead of the intended 10 due to WWII.
