Description Between 1940 and 1942, as part of Allied war effort in WWII, the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) together with New South Wales Government Railways (NSWGR) ran two recruiting trains across NSW to encourage more to join the RAAF in protecting Australia and with the promise of "adventure" (the classic propaganda stuff). The trains were formed of three "American suburban" or End Platform coaches painted sky blue with dark blue lettering on the side and (at the time) RAAF roundels. The way it worked was that an applicant would enter through carriage 1 and exit carriage 3 as a member of the RAAF. The coaches were also fitted out with equipment needed by the RAAF to do examinations of the many types on the applicants to see if they're fit for the role. In early 1942, the two trains, labelled as '25A' and '25B', were broken up and returned to NSWGR as standard passenger coaches.

Here is the rarest sight on Australian railways that was only seen between 1940 and 1942 as part of the Australian war effort as the Germans and later the Japanese. I tried to make the livery close to the real thing as possible while I'm not 100% certain of the colour on the roof, I went for mustard as I've seen this on a HO scale model of the RAAF Recruiting Train once.

This sprite is free to use but on the condition that the following names are credited.

This sprite is now rendered obsolete as it uses my old method. A new version can be found here:
