Description
My second commission from Fanime. Sorry for the blurrilicious look - this one was also taken with my phone. *derp*Perhaps I'll do another one for myself (it's a hand-colored print). It was a lot of fun to finally color one of my own pieces traditionally again! For the record, I colored it with Crayola colored pencils.

looks like a mechanized version of Zx-tole from the Guyver series.

Though I wasn't thinking of Zx-Tole when I made this, I'll admit an influence. I'm a BIG Guyver fan!

inspired by the palladium rifts game, no doubt; a cousin to the xiticix alien, but nicely done

mayhaps. i still wouldnt know where to find it. ive watched allot of anime, some of it just annoys me (cultural differences and/with animation stylization decisions). but perhaps teh 80s stuff isnt too bad. got any links to it?

Yeah! I got one of my favorites, "Hagane no Oni", at nyaatorrents (www.nyaa.eu). It's a 30-minute long mech-fight, the best I've ever seen.

I remember this one. They were a sort of living Transformer-type species, able to change between forms. Rifts: Mindwerks, I think.

You did a lot of cool stuff for England, but I'm looking at it in Mindwerks right now. It's the "battler" form of a Lycanomorph.

This mech looks similar to the one Dilandau(?) used in The Vision of Escaflowne anime series

No... Hadn't even heard that one. Keith did tell me about how several of the old favorites (Xabungle, Vifam, Votoms, the list seems to be growing) are getting revived. I so hope so. I remember the days of 23rd generation betas flickering across the TV whilst we all huddled close to hope to catch an image that gave us an idea of what was going on...Ahhhhh yes. The embryonic stage of JASFA.
Okawari-boy Starzans or Urashiman, anyone?
