Personality/Behavior: Martin, named after his grandfather, is a gentle soul, but he is not passive. The Blue Lantern attained the willpower of his father, so much willpower that he's the only Blue Lantern to successfully create constructs without the presence of a Green Lantern. Martin has learned the methods of meditation and spirituality from his Blue Lantern mentor, Saint Walker, and is keen to showing others ways of finding peace and tranquility without the use of the Blue Light of Hope. He cares deeply for his friends and family, and doesn't care about expressing his feelings and emotions, even compels others to embrace their emotions. He is great friends with Shockwave, like his father has been friends with the Flash. Martin loves his long-time girlfriend, Grace Gardner.

Blue Lanterns need a Green Lantern nearby to use tje full extant of their ring powers. If there isn't a Green Lantern, then they cannot create energy constructs, shoot energy blasts, etc., and all they can do is flight, protection in space, force field, and enhanced conditioning.

Which is kind of funny if you ask me. You have always been so zealous and hotheaded in terms of defending comic books heroes, Superman especially. Yet when coming down to other prominent heroes, you don't know anything.

I guess. But Blue Lanterns are capable of a lot with a Green Lantern nearby. Two BLs kept a sun from going supernova and made it younger and healthier again.
They can calm down Red Lanterns when Red Lanterns were overwhelmed with rage.
They can drain the power Yellow Lanterns.
Their energy cannot be absorbed by the Orange Lantern constructs.
