Description

With impunity from the natural order of the world finally being achieved, now we believe to be immortal. That we now hold the power to transcend time itself. To be capable of not only knowing reality, but to also unravel it! And to become the very gods we used to behold and nature, the cosmos itself, will be beholden to the will of man - to the will of a new god! A dangerous falsehood.

Yes, if we had such impunity, I think it would end shortly after.
Once we lose certain universal qualities of humanity, we cease to have the same motivations and purpose.
If you were to lose the consequences of mortality, perception of time, and any resistance outside your own will, you would either go mad or be incredibly bored from how quickly your desires are indulged and then left unfulfilled.
If you were to be rid of that feeling, that temporary desire, you might as well be dead.
What else is such a being to do? You haven't created anything. You were only given power and freedom away from the things that helped define your perception. It would be such a meaningless existence.

In this context, it's a very fitting brown that you've chosen to be the main color.

That's why most gods of mythology were so self-absorbed and just bathed in blood and carnal lusts. They were ideations of what humans would be like with unlimited power.

It is because of such delusions that power gives that Godhood seems like such a romatic ideal. Additionally, such ideas plant a darker image of the Divine Creator if there might be a belief in his existence still intact. As a devout believer of the Holy Father and a follower of his son, Jesus Christ, I might seem biased, but the idea of Gods' cruelty is not something I take pleasure in hearing. Blame I find tends to show itself when we do not understand a kind of pain. We believe that all things must have a cause otherwise it is pointless. Thus when there is suffering in the world we either blame man for committing the cruel act or God for allowing it to happen. Forgive me for my tangent, your art always seems to stir up a passionate part of me.

Keep up the great work!

Oh, the 'Problem of Evil' was a fun topic in my philosophy class.
Though, as with most introductory classes in philosophy, no real conclusion was reached; it did help me think about why I believe what I believe. So I have a lot to thank Epicurus for in that regard.
As for the argument of God implementing agency, or the freedom of choice, into man thus making them accountable, I can understand how that argument might seem as if it has holes. Something like that can seem as if God is the equivalent of a parent leaving behind their children to fend for themselves. The solutions to this idea are all dependant upon faith in a grander plan so no real conclusion can be reached. However, there was one conclusion that I reached through thinking about it, and that was that topics of faith cannot be debated only testified.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sorry to barge in, but I would definitely say that everything has a conception that started with certain motivations. Therefore, you can certainly give "blame" to whomever made their motivations tangible through action.
On a less cosmic scale of God being accused of cruelty, every humans actions are conceived by subjective motivation, and that action is a very objective event. Murder, for example, is an individual causing death of another because of any number of personal reasons.
It is completely their responsibility because they were the ones to manifest that motivation through a conscious act.

As far as the idea of God being blamed for having the 'adopted responsibility' of all of these perceived bad events, that is a separate debate upon the concept of free-will. I suppose you could also tie it to the concept of destiny/fate.

It's no problem at all, Mr-Fizzle. Topics of philosophical discussion are supposed to involve multiple perceptions of the same issue.

Personally, I don't think that free will and destiny/fate can coexist. A predetermined path would put God in a Tyrannical light as Nexmorphic stated seeing as the illusion of freedom would be what is imposed. Thus God, being the embodiment of righteousness and truth would be a hypocrite and become a false god. So, as with most discussions about topics of faith, the answer will depend upon the belief of the individual.

Thank you for your willingness to speak.
