A doodle I started on a while ago and added a bit of finish on today. I need to improve my approach to backgrounds - I grow impatient so fast, and I lose the impression of the piece overall very quickly when I zoom in, haha. Gotta practice!My character Maelk, whom I haven't drawn as much of lately as I did towards the end of last year, loves forests a lot. I do, too. Drawings trees is great for stress-relief - at least until you get serious and try to make something nice out of them.
