SDCC commission of batman vs Evil RyuUpdate: took about 2.5 hours, drawn at the hotel sitting area near the bar during the con.
tools: pens and copic markers w3 and w5
evil ryu could probably look a little more evil
i wasn't familiar with the current sf4 evil ryu, thus no hole in chest. i based this on his oldschool "dark ryu" look so i thought the pupiless eyes would do the trick. oh wells!Update 2: cleaned up the image a bit so it doesn't have that ugly "i shot this with a camera" gradient to it.

Even though Ryu may have power, Batman has more wit and intellect to outsmart and out-think the martial artist since Bruce Wayne is a master of hand to hand combat and weapons and vehicles.
I mean Batman took on Darksied and other very dangerous villians and doesnt even have super powers.

RYU would win. Batman can throw whatever he wants at him but what's he got that's gonna stop a Hodoken? And Ryu has trained to be a fighter all his life because he is a born fighter. Batman had to go through a traumatic experience... pussy.

Batman or Bruce Wayne I should say also went thru extreme martial arts training by the league of Assasins a league of Ninja Assasins that brought justice to the world, he trained ninjutsu, jujitsu, karate and many other forms of martial arts and mastered them all be also has the advantage of money and brig able to outtake any weapon we wants to neutralize any of Ryus attacks if BATMAN can neutralize superman who is MUCH stronger than Ryu than Batman should be able to take out Ryu much easier than Superman.

Do you really think Bruce's training was as extreme as Ryu's? Because if so, you are stupid. And Superman is the biggest push-over ever. Ryu doesn't have a weakness to Kryptonite or any other rock unless it's a boulder being dropped on his head. All Ryu ever does is train. Batman is busy trying to do 20 million other things. And I'm not saying Batman sucks. I'm just saying Ryu has fought a lot tougher. Without a giant budget, glowing rocks, an armory, 4 sidekicks, a butler/surgeon/mommy, a private jet, or a super secret Bat cave. And Batman needs all of this to fight some crazies like Joker? And Bane? I would love to see how he does against Bison. And I'm not saying Ryu would dominate this fight but he would be the victor.

1. Bruce is as normal as a human as you can get, Ryu is "supposedly" human but what human actually projects blast of ki from there hands? Human my ass. Ryu lives in seclusion so does Batman in a different sense, batman is trained to top physical Olympic potential and is well versed in over 100 different disciplines, genius level intellect and strategic planning, he wouldn't step Into a fight without studying his opponent, he could research all he needs to know on Ryu discover a weakness in Ryus game and expose it it's what he does best. He can and is able to defeat Ryu if you deny that well then you're just a cap com fanboy and yeah superman is a pushover and would squash Ryu with one punch but we won't get Into that. Not only that but they have different motives in what they do, Ryu fights for his own personal glory and Batman fights for vengeance against the criminal underworld that took his parents lives, very different motivations for both characters that you can't really compare because of two different universes. due to their always being stramon arguments and situations like theses it's liek comparing apples to oranges, IMHO Bruce deduces and devices a strategic way to take Ryu down and win.

Hm..tough to call. Batman has so many gadgets it's ridiculous, Ryu can shoot fireballs. Ryu only knows one martial art but has beaten several masters, Batman has studied several martial arts and has experience dealing with people who are beyond human.
Pure fist to fist fight? I'd say Ryu, nineteen out of twenty times, and the only way Batman wins is if Ryu's exhausted from fighting plenty of others. Absolutely anything goes? Feels like a coin-toss to me. Guess I'd better get Two-Face to do the flip..
