aaah... this was fun.. mostly because it's part of this HUGE collab with 6 other crazy talented artists. basically a homage to the original 7 image comics titles.the colours done by the amazing .
he really blew me away with this. well, with the entire piece actually. i REALLY encourage you to check out the full collaboration of the entire group shot fully coloured here: [link]
what i really loved about this is that all the styles of the artists matched the characters they drew so well, and jeff's colours just unified the whole pic.

Amazing sketch, but I feel the inking didn't do the sketch justice, it lost alot of the detail. But its still stellar work.

I remember an issue of Wizard that one of my friends had, in 8th grade, with Ripclaw and Warblade on the cover. First time I'd ever seen Ripclaw, although I knew Warblade from the WildCATS cartoon on the USA channel... Haha.

Hey Joe, I was just on Newsarama, and I thought you'd like to see some of the comments people have been leaving about your artwork.

excellent, my bribes have worked! haha. thanks man. yeah make sure you check it out! to be honest, i'm not entirely satisfied with how i drew some things due to deadlines, but the second issue will hopefully make up for it!

Still, I've enjoyed all the published work of yours that I've seen so far (which is pretty much just War Within III, Red Sonja Goes East, and that issue of ToyFare that you did some of the Japanese Transformers for - which I picked up not knowing those were your drawings), and the previews for GI JoeNg/TFs looks better than all of them.
I'm sure it looks better than you think it does.
