Description
The idea was that Gaz is 16 and she and Zim are dating while he is battling it out with her brother. So Dib had just attacked Zim with a giant water balloon and Gaz had also gotten wet in the crossfire. As cruel a girl she is and can be, she genuinely cares for Zim and has taken him home to dry him off so that he isn't further burned by the residue water. And this is where my imagination messes me up. By sixth panel, after Gaz struck him, Zim was supposed to then touch her hair and the last panel would have shown Gaz blushing and not frowning anymore as he pressed his lips to her still wet hair and risk scorched lips for her. He would say something like, "It hurts, but Zim thinks the Gaz-female is ravishing when she's angry and annoyed."
So... While they're sitting and she's drying his giant green head, he's bored and his eyes start to wander at what's in front of him. The fourth panel rather indicates where his thoughts were leading to and Gaz, not with the greatest temper, reacts by striking him across the face. Naturally, he's shocked and in denial about anything he's done while Gaz is just annoyed. Zim says something in the sixth panel that further annoys Gaz, but is still rather.... Sincere.
Then one thing leads to another and even though she's Gaz, she undeniably has a soft spot for the idiotic alien.
So... Can I stick with this or should I go back to my original idea?
This is an experimental style, I might try to adapt the style to be more reminiscent of Jhonen Vasquez. What do you think?
