I was using Nate Hallinan's Painting Creature Fur for a long time when draw hair; but as I getting lazier, it's time to come up with st quicker for background character

Tips:
Lay out the base first before you start texturing.
For extra details use the first, single strand brush with noise added (optional).
Gather references before jumped in (Beard and chest hair grow along with skin cell development ).
