Never read the comics, but honestly, if Sonic Team can get another shot at giving Shadow his own game without it being way too edgy or the story being absolutely ridiculous, I'd want it to look like this, or at least similar to this.

This gives me an idea for what could happen in it.
Instead of having multiple fake endings, there are just 4 stories with different duos, but all of them are canon. Kinda like episodes in a way.
