Beautiful! I always loved Ultimate Emerl battle and context of said battle, he is, by far, the most tragic and sad Final Boss of the Sonic series...
This render is perfect! Such a great work!
That point about Emerl's death is a good one... but I believe that his body just imploded for the damage his body suffered during his fight with Sonic, which made him unable to control that much energy (Tails said something like this).
