Β Imagine a scenario where Professor Gerald created a full on Chaos prototype based on the specs of Chaos0or a different scenario where Dr. Eggman uses the technology created by his grandfather to take full control of Chaos as to not let the same mistake happen twice... well something like that sort of happened in the Sonic X comics but this version is a bit diffrentΒ
let me know if you think this concept is interesting, i've had this idea for a long while

I think this picture may've inspired some of my OCs - Praetorian-class Next Gen Artificial Chaos unitsΒ P-2-ER "Peter" and P-2-TC "Patricia". They are sentient, self-aware, sapient and serve as personal guardians of Maria Robotnik (hence the "Praetorian" class), who, here, has escaped G.U.N. raid together with Shadow by sorta hijacking (engineer gave them master-key and instructions on what to do) advanced Jackal aerospace fighter, upgraded with full-auto control system, and riding it to Earth (they only set destination to board computer and machine did everything rest).
Anyway, even if I'm mistaken and haven't seen this picture before writing OCs' profiles, thank you for it!

I've thought of an OC villain who is a sentient Artificial Chaos named Renek. Although one of his evil deeds happens to be finding the world where Tikal and Chaos have vanished into at the end of Sonic Adventure, kidnapping all of the Chao there, and defeating and absorbing the real Chaos.

Well you see kind friend. I created this deviant art just to view art. Im not an artist or creator on here. I just enjoy seeing drawings and sprites of sonic and others. Im not trying to be professional or promote anything. And about my name, Im a huge sonic fan. And i mean huge. (Sonic 3 & Knuckles is the best game yet in my opinion) I enjoyed Sonic adventure and sonic heroes for the most part. But after sonic 06 I was heart broken. Sonic rings and sonic black knight weren't that good to me. it wasn't until unleashed sonic Β finally had an OK game again. I haven't played a really good sonic game since Sonic adventure. Sad but true. So my name displays my exact thoughts. Hopefully sonic mania and Sonic 2017 make sonic great again. Because if they don't i will be heartbroken. But mania looks promising.. So yeah...

That depends on our opinion about each games, and to me i feel like they are becoming quite simpleminded at best.
Doesn't change the fact that a username like yours based on that we don't need to talk about.
I mean no offense dude, i just don't like making a username that is just slapped on which was taken straight out of fictitious character name.
Also, i get what you mean, and besides Sonic Adventure (And it's sequel) and Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) are reboots to each series, though if it were up to me, i'd make them far relatable to the classics, while keeping the modern touch.
Don't expect these games be great again, because that's just an subjective opinion you're speaking.
I'd say making it fun to play would sound more accurate, but hey to each their own.

Have a good idea and be able to execute it well with one of these new games (or both) sonic 06 was a good idea but they didn't execute in terms of performance(and the story wasn't great) but the idea was there. If sonic mania and sonic 2017 are successful my faith will be restored in sega. They may finnaly be back on track π

That's a'right because Sega America could do a better job in translation than these unfaithful slags (A few mind you).
Anyways, with Studiopolis (Based on Los Angeles studio that currently dubs as a cast of Sonic characters), we've seen about it, .
Also, Sonic Mania would obviously succeed, because they reworked not only the stages that you never seen it that much often in the originals, but also having detailed, yet cartoonish animations that they (Referring to Tails, Knuckles and Rosy) were supposed to be.
Project '17, we don't know too much of, and to me i don't even need to get my hopes up, but the only thing they'll do is to bring back the angled turns that Adventure 2 did, and then i'll call it solid.
For Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), i honestly feel like it would've gotten a subtitle seeing this as a second rebooted game, for me they should at least balance the cartoony and realism, and call it an rather interesting combination.
They may as well get back on track, with other games they did, which they actually did these more justice once again.
