while I was doing the time eater render I was messing around with the shaders on other characters and I liked it so much I decided along with doing all of sonic's friends on time eater I'd do sonic in this style by himself so you can fully see itit gave me a lot of neat ideas, like what if time eater Β betrayed eggman and destroyed the Β modifications they did to him, and then took over all of sonic's friends and then sonic himself was taken over by time eater and you had to fight him in generations and the true final boss.. lol, idk I feel generations could have used a much heavier plot with some real twist
I've got one more render planed, you'll have to wait to see it tho

Maybe when the Time Eater possesses Sonic, the Eggmen are forced to team up with Classic Sonic to save time itself.

I will say that's a cool idea and a nice what if story,but I'm glad eggman was actually smart here and was able to properly control the monster this time. I do agree generations story should have more but I do like that the monster didn't make a fool out of eggman this time. I think the ideaΒ can still work though like maybe eggman decides to have the time eater posses sonic.

Are you going to do mephiles as well cuz I heard that Ian Flynn expressed the opinion that sega intended time eater to be a sort of reborn mephiles, some portion of him surviving the paradox that prevented his existence (considering mephiles can alter time, and how 06 is one of the games featured in generations despite those events never happening) however sega hasn't exactly comfirmed this

looks really cool! and i always thought that the time eater had the same type of look from mephiles, which is automatically awesome to me, i even think they mention this in the archie comics, something about the time eater being a part of mephiles that got left behind after 06 or something, idk, but i like it.

Looks like it would be a final boss. But, who would fight him? Is the idea that it's like the nonexistent Mephiles, that it takes form of the strongest being available?
If Generations had a deeper plot and longer gameplay (and kept the rings=speed mechanic), I may have liked it better than Unleashed. Have you watched the Defend It! on Unleashed?

Dunno how that would work, as in, as I've stated, who would be the "new protagonist"?

Then comes the paradox of if Classic fought Modern, Modern would've been stronger because Classic fought him; so as Classic grows up into Modern, Modern would have enhanced skills, therefore impossible fight... But hey, it's your imagination

I recently found the incomplete Time Eater and it looks awesome! Β If you can do the modification (complete) version of the Time Eater, than great! Β If you can't, then that's okay.

after all Eggman could manipulate it so easily
