Description Just a little palette-cleanser pic. So many wonderful new products out there now, but I was reminding myself of all the great stuff I've got and don't use any more. So I woke up Aiko 3 from her long slumber and dusted off her wardrobe. I've had the bike for years (found it in my Poser 5 runtime), but it was a freebie somewhere and I don't think I actually used it until now. Especially now that I'm a lot more experienced than I was back when these were new I need to do some more temporal exploring as it were. In the mean time I hope you like this simple little scene

I love the character design, but the bike looks silly. Do you happen to have a Harley model?

No I don't... actually the reason I did the pic was for the bike. I hadn't in my library for years and had never used it.

Always wondered where the road might end... I like the scene.
As for the bike model... well it does support the story and its not another too close reincarnation of Katsuhiro Otomo's vison of a futuristic motorcycle.
Cool original futuristic bikes are somewhat rare it seems. But as I couldn't do one myself my choice would have been similar anyway
Aiko sure looks great after a long slumber on your hard drive. Cool!

Thank you very much Yah there seems to be a standard theme with futuristic bikes. I came across this one in my runtime and was too unique not to use Glad you like it

Yeah, I definitely like the image, the composition, the story, but unfortunately the bike is not really my favorite.
Well I'm not native English speaking so my choice of wordplay might come across strangely at best
Tim Cameron is doing nice bike designs that come across nicely I think: [link] or [link] ,
but thats only my personal and humble opinion
Nice work!
Thanks for the watch by the way

Very impressive designs I will agree the bike I chose is nice but not necessarily the best for this picture, but it's one I'd never used before so I thought I'd experiment with it. I had the girl and the bike first before I added the road and background. Probably would have been better in another setting, but then again luxury cars make road trips too so it being way out here where it shouldn't just adds to the uniqueness of it

Most welcome... my pleasure to watch

DAMN!! You have certainly done a amazing job in making A3 look seriously hot! It is always nice when you find something in an old runtime that becomes new again. You are making me regret deleting all my old runtimes when I went from Poser 7 (had Poser 8, but I try to forget that disaster!) to Poser Pro 2010. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the next bits you find in an old dusty runtime.

Thank you very much Yah my oldest runtime is Poser 5 and that was before multiple runtimes (or if it wasn't I didn't understand it)... EVERYTHING went into that one folder so it's enormous. Takes forever for it to load up and on earlier versions of Poser some things just weren't there because there wasn't room to show it all. Now it's all compartmentalized... One Runtime for V4, one for M4, one for Props, one for Landscapes, etc... Have about 20 all told, which makes things easier...though even now I see I should have gone farther and done like V4 characters, V4 poses, V4 clothing... Probably would have about 40 or 50 runtimes then

Still have P5 and P6 runtimes archived in the list so I can hunt into them if the mood strikes me. So many to choose from though I rarely think of it. I definitely need to do more

I am probably going to have to create a new runtime soon, my current one is over 2gb and every once in a while it takes a bit to load and every once in a while if I have had the program open for a while it will crash on me. How big do you generally let your runtimes get before starting a new one?

NICELabs In reply to ShadowhawkOne [2012-12-06 15:04:27 +0000 UTC]

Well so far I've just been relying on the category rather than size, so I haven't made any new ones. So far everything has been running well for me, which is good as I've blown the 2 gig line off the map The newest ones are still under a gig ( my Kids 4 and Genesis import runtimes)... the largest is the old Poser 5 at 38.21 gig... Wow... never calculated the sizes till now. My V4 runtime is about to overtake P5 at 37.81... sheesh!! It all loads ok so glad the new levels of Poser can handle it Fortunately I've given runtimes to all the V4 variants so A4, G4, Steph 4, V4 Elite all have their own runtimes... or it'd be through the roof

So you are using Genesis in Poser? how is that working for you? I have thought about updating DS4pro to DS4.5Pro so I can do that myself but Ihave heard a few horror stories about issues with it loading.

NICELabs In reply to ShadowhawkOne [2012-12-06 15:10:41 +0000 UTC]

Well.. I got the importer and messed with it initially, but I haven't got back to it yet. Only have the items that came with the initial pack so haven't really given it a shakedown yet. So far the things I really wanted on the Genesis side of things they haven't made importable, so right now it's not all that exciting.

I will have to watch and see when you do start popping out Poser based Genesis images. I will have to get off my butt and install it I guess.

Very cool! I remember I had that bike in my runtime myself at one stage, before I lost it in a 'crash'.

NICELabs In reply to Blades-123 [2012-12-04 17:06:18 +0000 UTC]

I didn't crash... just lost it in a runtime full of junk Now I've got like 20 compartmentalized runtimes to organize things, but I still have my Poser 5 as one of those... too big to sort Still, it's fun to explore the old warehouse Never know what I'm going to find
