Lately I've been watching more The Next Mutation series and honestly I still like it. It's corny, but it's fun to watch XDAnyways, I did a couple bits where if NiNi were a part of the series. Like the first one - you could say that NiNi is like a big sister to Venus in some respects in explaining the routine around the lair and such and what it's like being around just guys; that sort of thing.
The 2nd one is from the episode "All in the Family" where they save this baby turtle from Bonesteel and Leonardo asked Venus if he could hold it and his reaction was just so CUTE that I had to make NiNi react somehow.
I have more ideas I want to sketch, but I'll post them as I make them.

I kind of feel the same way about it. I am a bit ashamed that my introduction to the TMNT was the most hated incarnation of them, but it did have its moments.

TNM is definitely cute. I gotta go back and watch all of it again. x3 I was a bit worried that NiNi wouldn't like Venus too much, but honestly, canonically (..is that a word?), Venus didn't seem all that interested in Leo or was very veerrrryy nervous about it. I could see NiNi and Venus as "sisters" too.

(if u didnt see it, i gotta tell, its like zutara in avatar the last airbender: it only apears in a few moments so most of the people didnt relize, but its there. ITS FREAKIN THERE

Well of course NiNi wouldn't REALLY win because she isn't a canon character. And even if she WAS canon, she wouldn't want to fight even if LeoxVenus did exist. NiNi in my alternate universe may love Leonardo, but she'd rather have him happy as to who he chooses - if it's not her, then she'd respect that. Simple as that.

Yeah, I get turned off sometimes by The 'Drome, because I find it a bit disheartening that I, a hardcore TMNT fan for more than 20 years, can still feel a bit outgeeked over there. That and there are a number of members that are like "Your opinion is different than mine, that means you're wrong!"
That have been all said, there are a lot of cool people I've met there that are really cool.

The Next Mutation is the live action Ninja Turtles show made by Saban (you know, the guys who had Power Rangers aired) and it's where the guys are adults instead of teenagers. It's very cheesy, but it's funny to watch in my opinion if you want to make fun of something. XD

Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation was a short-lived TMNT series on Fox Kids during the late 90's. The guys meet up with a mutant girl turtle named Mei Pei Chi, Whom they later dubbed Venus De Milo. She became a part of the green machine and the guys dealt with a lot of new baddies; a group of humanoid dragons, a mob led by a super intellegent yeti, a pyschotic game hunter, and later a ressurected chinese vampire who wanted revenge against Venus. Corny, but fun indeed. I love the second panel! Let's face it, turtles are cute whether or not they're mutated. Forever awesome!
