Hello beautiful deeevs!Today I started to hear that pre-orders have been coming in and the book has begun to pop up in stores- SO EXCITING! So I think I am in the clear to start posting some art from the Disney project I had been working on for a few wonderful months this autumn.
Before it got started, I needed to do some preliminary illustrations to demonstrate to them what the book might look like in my style. The result was this- which I got to kind of throw my heart into a little. My favorite time of day <3

1. The use of wind as general force of movement in the picture is grand - there is not one thing, that stays untouched by it.
2. The design for Maleficent is perfectly balanced and interesting.
