Another very fun and very tricky race from China Mieville's Bas-Lag books: The Vodyanoi. This design hasn't changed *too* radically from the original concept, but it's been refined in some key ways...it's all about trying to balance the frog and human characteristics. No idea what Vodyanoi are, unfortunately. But I took a few seconds to wonder "what is it that makes this awesome?" And then I realized how this sketch, and all of the other drawings I've looked at, just pop out at you. Even your lines do it - the sense of volume they give is amazing. Not everyone can render so well and so easily, and it takes a little more than that to make something seem REAL that has nothing to do with being "picture perfect". You do it. You've an amazing gift (or a well honed craft)

I love it. You know a company has aquired the rights to making an RPG version of this setting. They would be a fool not to have you as the artist.
