Description
This is my most recent picture of one of the Gods of Egypt. Now I am running a Scion RP currently and I was baffled at first as to why everybody wanted me to run. Then I realized they knew I knew the most about the gods.Nooooobody knew what the heck Set looked like, so I had to draw them to give them an idea as to what this God looks like. Now they know
Set, the God of Chaos doing his daily duty of killing off the monster snake Apep.
Fun Fact: While drawing this my friend Jason and I got into an argument of what Apep's name was.. I said it was Apep, he said Apophis. I would not agree. I lost.... Apophis is the greek name for Apep. That bastard.

Great drawing! And technically, you're both right about the name. Apep (or some derivitive - hieroglyphics can be tricky) is the Egyptian name for him. When the Greeks took over, he became Apophis. Most of the other gods received Greekified names as well.

I know that now, the argument was that his name was NOT apophis, so I did not know of his other name and refused to believe that was his second name. I have been corrected
