Don;t forget the great resources at the ambient forums too. Loads of tutorials and free brushes etc - plus a very friendly bunch who are nearly always willing to offer avice and answers when you ask for it.

I made a hand drawn sticker brush to do the foliage. An hour or two's work up front to save many more hours drawing and painting it all individually. Needed a lot of fiddling about with to try and integrate it of course.

It's best if you can make some custom brushes yourself, Chris. Then they will fit in better with your other brush strokes. Dig out the excellent tutorial about creating sticker brushes by Someonesane, in the ArtRage forum.
The 'nature2' collection is on the forum resources already if you are desperate for some of my dodgy efforts though. It does have the 'Badhairday' brush in it that I used for some bits in this picture - if that helps. I think the grassy ones are in there too.
