as you know i have artrage 3 studio pro,
and always looking for tips.

I was just working at screen resolution and size, Chris. So that would be 72dpi on a 1680-1050 BenQ - and then cropped a bit because there was extraneous space to the right.
Basic pencil with precise turned on, and using a dark grey/red tone to draw with. Pale raw umber, Watercolour applied on a layer set to 'multiply' - wet paper-off, instadry-on, 100% loading, 75% thinners, 33% pressure - or something like that.
Toned background layer added - Highlights drawn on to crisp up last.

Round is a classic figure. He so seems the type to be found 'round the pub, 'round the stables, 'round the garden, 'round the wood, 'round the kitchen or pantry, 'round the stream, or even 'round the bend.
