Dude, in Art and In Life even, concept is everything. If you don't have that creativity, it doesn't matter what technical talent you have cause all you'll ever do is replicate, and never fully emulate. But if you can think it for yourself, all that holds you back is your own talent.
Unless you're trying to get employed comerically, in which case it 5% talent and 100% ass kissing

awesome work... gah, your inks make me feel so envious.
The composition is just staggeringly great, but the small sihouetted Godzilla could use a little more punch, mostly because I think the curled tail makes his seem a little more demure. Make no mistake though, this is a fun, riveting piece. Awesome, awesome stuff.

As far as how I do these great inks, I practice. A lot. As well it's important to have a background in art pricipals, knowing compostion and balance and other such elements. Material wise, I use brushes, crow quill nibs, and Pigma Micron pens. On this work I used brush all the way except for the letters, I used the Microns.
Thru practice mainly is how I get better at this. Hopefully I'll be good at this one day
