Description
I call this one luck, everyone else in class called it skill. I thought for sure blending glazes on the wolves would cause some sort of disaster perhaps a flash of neon green or purple in their fur but no, everything blended together so nicely which is weird because different glazes cause different chemical reactions when mixed together and fired. Its hard to believe a layer of glass I had no idea how it would turn out came together so perfectly. There is a little excess in some spots like the tail of the one in front but I was in a hurry so I was okay with leaving it. One friend says to just call it snow on the wolf. So we will just say that. Fall 2009.By the way we were given the option of either creating an animal from pictures found online or in books and do three versions from low to high relief or do a design tile and plaster and copy that several times. I'm glad I did the wolves and my professor was so pleased he didn't even mind that I didn't do the other two reliefs. I still got an A for the class.

Love the fur lines of the wolves a lot! It is truly hard to make fur textures on clay...

Thank you, just measured and it looks like it came to exactly 6.5/6.5 inches. Didn't realize I had it so precise.
