Sure.
I added a defocusing mask from large radius at the edges to sharp on the tree, in a gradient fashion so it goes from sharp to blurry smoothly. The blur I used was developed by me in a custom photoshop plugin to emulate realistic bokeh from a real lens. After the blur was applied, I applied some contrast and subpixel rendered the final document. More info about subpixel anti-aliasing can be found here [link]
