Description
part 1 in a series inspired completely by ~PIROtehniche's done a series by the same name. --> [link] check it out.
this will be my first sequential art. i need practice.
by the way there is no plan with this story. none. so it might turn out lame or not make any sense.

Lol, I can understand that. I'm heading down the comic book road, bending over backwards to break into THAT industry which is about as easy as winning American Idol.
I still do traditional "artsy" pieces, though, quite regularly. It does require a lot of work *sigh*.

I like your portrayel of shadows and lights by using just black and white with no blending. Gives the story a certain mood.

i agree. i like it more than i thought i would. the series by ~PIROtehnic that inspired this was quite the opposite. it has lots of low contrast backgrounds, absolutely beautiful. however i wanted to give mine a similar mood. weird how that happens.

Yeah I checked out some of the original series. I really like the tones used. Your version definitely has a similar mood even though there is more of a contrast in shadows.

This piece really reminds me of how I imagined the terrain from the book Alien. Your style is creative and unique and man I gotta tell ya, I love it. I like it, you did a great job on the shading and story boarding. I could never do something like this because I will have a story in my mind, and won't be able to put it into the correct images to portray it in an understandable way xD
