The color is a lot more interesting, to me. It makes the darkness of the background contrast so much more with the white, and it makes the bright purple really stand out. The soft yellow of the lemon is nice, too. Great still.

As a big fan of color photograph, im glad you submit the color version of this pic....
Interesting lightning... was it natural??
black background makes me only focus on the flowers and nothing else... good idea mate!!
I wish the purple part of the flower isnt underexposed as it will create a nicer color contrast between white and purple.... but this pic was meant to be BW pic rite??
