Another well made photo. I like the green hue.
You paint with light, making photographs with the eye of a painter. This is a good thing.

I know it's clichΓ©d t oexclaim "Wow," but that's really what first crossed my mind... one of the absolute-fucking-BEST images i've seen (not just on this podunk website, but also ANY photographs in any context), in a very long while. Fantastic composition and color, and I'm a sucker for selective focus... i'm becoming a bit of a fan of your work, no?

Well I can't think of anyone who I'd rather have for a fan, since I've been a fan of your work myself for so long...
i know what you mean about the selective focus, it's all I ever seem to want to do anymore...i've been spending up to 10 mins recently focusing a single shot, just trying to decide what to leave out of focus and get it just right...

i'm very curious about this photograph. for example, what is he looking at? what is the green that is blurred in the background? what time of day is it? it's very subtle and peaceful. i like it very much.

mmm...
very lovely. i've been looking through your gallery, and i'm very impressed by the interesting, sensitive, thought-provoking style you have.
i like this one because it could just be a man looking at a ship, but the way it's focused, there's obviously more to it. we're drawn into his mind almost.
(and i like the way the hands are highlighted )
fabulous.
