"Call of Venus" (Q1 2019)

Oftentimes when you feel burnt out, when you feel like there is nothing more to get out of bed for, your head too heavy to rise in the morning. Suddenly it comes to your still sleepy mind that there is light waiting to be captured, maybe another one of those singular moments that you still feel the need to chase. You can hear a voice calling out in the whispering deeps. Who knows, you may just get lucky again, as you used to once in a while. The world may bless you with one of those special instances where things fall into place, if you can muster up the courage to get up. You never know. Thus you decide to open your eyes again and step out, against all better judgement. It is what landscape photography does. It gives purpose and direction. Something to thrive on. It does that for me. Couldn't be doing something else.
