Truthfully, maps frighten and confuse me... But you have found a way to incorporate some right-brained appeal into a lovely rendering of the clock tower. I wonder why you decide to leave the "sky" blank in this piece? I know that there is no map of London streets that could be super-imposed over the sky, so it wouldn't make sense for that reason, but I just think that a bit of sky-scape could be appealing in this piece... Just a thought. You are very talented, and have so much to feel proud of !

I really like this, Love how you can tell where the river Thames is in this picture. Makes me kinda homesick, it's so well done.

I think you did a amazin' job but I think it'd would've looked better if yo used a few more tones of white to show contrast.

when I looked at it immediately reminded me of a snow-covered church (pity that we do not snowing) but when I saw map outline I was very surprised. interesting composition but I like most, however, the Church.
I'm not speak English very well but I still learning.

London Map, or Tottering Towers by Nicolas Jolly. It's like a city that's disintegrating before our very eyes. Although curiously enough, although there's very little of it left, your picture still contains something of the flavour of Old London. Just the last bits of it caught on camera before they disappear forever. The tower - of Tower Bridge? - looks as though it's being peppered with shrapnel. I wonder if this is a reference to the war? After all, London was very badly blitzed. It was this that destroyed old London. And now I can see a splash of red in the picture. And the old spinal curvature of the Thames. But there is also something of the sixties in the whiteness. And something of the splash of modern art, too. Yes, she's still there, underneath it all, like a golem peeking out. Given a little artistry and imagination - as you have given it - London is a city that could rise again. But it may take 100 years from 1940 for it to really do so....Maybe. Possibly. Will.

the building is ok but I am not really liking the way the map was done. Great concept though. Too much open space.

I think it's Tower Bridge, looking along the bridge from one tower (out of shot) to the other - you can just make out the cars and red buses on the roadway at the bottom of the picture - and the curve of the support wires about half way up the image.

No problems - my dad used to run in the London Marathon before his knees gave up - that's a view you get used to seeing, once you recognise it (and of course presuming I'm right!)
And yes, nice to meet you too - thank-you for your comments elsewhere.
