Friday's here, folks!

After the week I had, I thought it'd never come Luckily I made it and things seem to be falling slowly back up into place as far as the schedule goes, so I'm finding more time to post.

This is another small side-piece to a very long standing commission; the kind I like to do if I can to make up for the time elapsed and the patience these clients have for me and my past unprofessional behaviour. And, as the Astropath I posted yesterday, I went back to my limited palette roots for this one too.

In keeping with the theme of yesterday's post, here's one of the infamous Rogue Traders that the Imperium of Man uses to unofficially explore the fringes of the Galaxy without risking other, more important troops and servants. So, basically space pirates Which sounds very cool in and of itself, so why not draw one? Also, I liked the idea of having the close-up profile of the auilline Captain framed by the glass window of his ship as it traverses the damgerous and malignant Warp; which is a pretty scary way to travel, if you think about it. Surounded by daemons trying to access your soul? Not for the faint of heart!

So, I hope you enjoy this one as usual and for those of you following my work form way back, you'll maybe get the same nostalgia for this palette that I did. But I'm also very happy to see how much it has evolved from its first steps and how my skills as an artist are in constant evolution.

I'll try and make up for the weekly silence these past few days with a couple of weekend posts, so I'll probably see you tomorrow.
