Description This is an image i did out of pure fun this afternoon. I had been wanting to somehow mix all the elements that were always present in my best images: Sci-Fi, the female form, rust, bones and a battle torn city. I managed to do this illustration which i'm very proud of, because it combines all those elements and yet it is original in itself.
I named it 'October Rust' as a homage to that great album by Type O Negative; always an inspiration.

I hope you like it!

Love the stylization of the tummy area, sometimes a few simple lines are needed to say so much. I recently discovered this with one of my own designs

you have read the monster trilogy by enki bilal have you not? at some point there are a bunch of people in a pool shaved and with tape similar to what you did (maybe it's just coincidence though XD ) absolutely love your drawing ^-^

I can't say i've read that book by Enki Bilal, but i do know him and love his art so i'll have to look out for that. This time it's mere coincidence ! Thank you very much for you words!

I like.
Very nice combination indeed.
The boobs are a bi off, not nessecarily that they need to be bigger, but they seem oddly shaped...maybe it's just because Im an old horny bugger and want bigger boobs...
Anyway, it looks perfect otherwise! I love how you can bring out a sensation of feelings in your characters.

Your comments always make me happy, mate! And about the boobs buisness, well... i wanted to give her small breasts, so that they were in shape with the body i had designed for her. Since she's quite 'long' i felt that a big pair would be somewhat odd. But i do understand your craving for them

Thanks again!

Very cool, I love the shading techniques you use, and your skill with battle torn enviroment is something I envy...so simple, yet I have the hardest time with it XD
I like her, she seems lost in contemplation...wonder what she's thinking about

Thank you, Mako85! It's good to see that i've been able to have you wondering about her thoughts. I think one of the most difficult things in art is transmitting emotions through lines. And i'm glad i've achieved it!
