Hey folks!Work's been keeping me mighty busy as usual, but I still manage to scrape some minutes together every day to warm-up before tackling my deadlines. And since a lot of my schedule is filled with superheroics due to my illustrating the "Tiny Supers" RPG, it's natural that practice will surround the subject matter at hand.
I must admit I'm not up to date on recent DC events, or any other comic occurence for that matter. But I do keep up with the latest designs and characters that pop-up accross the classic universes and this one I've been seeing all over the place. As far as I can tell, he's an alternate reality Batman and a damn good one at that. His simple design and completely cartoonish nature somehow strike at the very core of what comics can do when jamming on a basic premise: what if Batman had been affected with the Joker's laughing gas?Β
This was extremely fun to draw and I hope you enjoy it as well. Thank you for the constant support and see you (hopefully) tomorrow with more artwork

I haven't read this story line either, but the image reminds me of nothing so much as the Batman/Judge Dredd crossover in which Joker becomes a Dark Judge.

The Batman Who Laughs is a wonderfully freaky villain. Of the evil alternate Batmen from the Dark Knights storyline, he really stands out.Β
