Yup-had to do it before it was taken down in October. I don't really have or need a Facebook, but I do like the Plants vs. Zombies Adventures characters so I decided to draw more plant humanizations.
Acespearagus (aka Ace)-I obviously portrayed him as a fighter pilot based on his helmet and the fact that he had to repeat flight school. I gave him a sort of steely gaze because I wanted him to look tough and a teeny weeny bit rebellious.
Bio: He was always talking back to instructors and being overzealous in flight school, so he had to repeat it. Now that he passed with flying colors, he and his younger brother have teamed up to fight Zomboss and his zombie army. He is known for being headstrong and not afraid to stand up for himself. His real name is Ace.
Popcorn (aka Paxton)-For him, as he is small, I wanted to draw him as a child between the ages of 6 and 10. He looks kinda goofy-almost like IDreamOfTheWind 's character Fred.
Bio: As he's a little scared of zombies, he sometimes hides for a long time, much to the others' annoyance. He is also very spontaneous at times and giggles a lot. His real name is Paxton.
Chilly Pepper (aka Vance)-I like the design for this guy-he reminds me of my humanized Snow Pea a little, hence his nonchalance and winter clothing. I tried to make him look like he had a cold without getting too gross, so I gave him reddened cheeks and saggy eyelids.
Bio: Eduardo's slightly younger brother, he tends to keep his anger inside most of the time. The others wonder about his mental health and what's on his mind, of course. He also has the world's flimsiest immune system and often has a bad cold. His real name is Vance.
Sweet Pea (aka Dee Dee)-Given her association with candy and her romantic personality, I drew her as short and fat with a sickeningly cloying motif. While her botanical self is cute, don't stare at her here for too long if you don't want to be nauseated by pink.
Bio : She's incredibly friendly and pleasant-yet also simple-minded and a total romantic. She also spends too much of her spare time watching chick flicks and eating equally syrupy things, and is sort of the "shipper on deck". Don't be fooled by her kindness-if you tick her off, you will be lucky to survive.
Power Flower (aka Willow)-She's definitely the "hippie chick" type-just look at her! I added her pink bandanna, peace necklace, and her cool glasses, but I also added a rainbow tie-dye shirt and cute floral bell-bottoms. Groovy!
Bio: She is your classic hippie chick, as she's all about peace and love, cares about the environment, wears a lot of peace sign jewelry and tie-dye, and is also pretty artsy. She never leaves the house without her lucky pink bandanna, and her cousin, Sunny, thinks she's a little strange for liking mostly Beatles music. Her real name is Willow.
Flaming Pea (aka Coco)-I based her design off of both Chell from The Road to El Dorado and Red Hot Riding Hood from the Tex Avery cartoon of the same name. She wears a red cocktail dress, and her hair is in a ponytail because I want it to resemble a flame.
Bio: She is strikingly beautiful, and most of the boys want her despite her on-and-off relationship with Sheldon (Human!Snow Pea). Oh yeah, and she is known for being quite the flirt. Her real name is Coco.
Ice Queen Pea (aka Hildegarde)-I really loved drawing her, what with the fancy gown and the tiara and all. I wanted to make her look elegant and refined, despite that she's obviously freezing, and I decided to base her very, very loosely off of Elsa from Frozen.
Beeshooter (aka Boris)-He just has a stripy sweater and hair, enough said.
Aspearagus (aka Gus)-I wanted him to look like a trickster for some reason, so I gave him a heavily freckled complexion, a sneaky grin, and baggy clothing. I also wanted to make it look like he was Ace's younger brother.
Beet (aka Bert)-I wanted to make him look like a tough guy, so I gave him a Mohawk haircut and torn clothing as well as a scar on his cheek. I gave him a reddened, angry face as well as his black eye that he has in the game.
Shamrock (aka Sean)-I wanted him to have some Irish features, given that shamrocks are a symbol of Ireland and that he is first unlocked in Mildew Meadows, which is implied to be somewhere in Ireland. I also tried to work his face shape into the humanization, and I think that it looks sort of alright.
Hard-Nut (aka Emery)-He's obviously a construction worker of some sort, given the clothes. I made him look tall and strong, but with friendly facial features, given his Almanac entry.
Shamrockstar (aka Brandon)-He looks like quite the rocker with his goatee, Mohawk, piercings, and distressed jacket. I drew him playing a Flying V guitar, as if he were doing some kind of shredding solo. And like his little brother Shamrock, I decided to make him a redhead as well.
Bamboom (aka Lee)-He has a sort of martial appearance, given his camo-print clothes and dog tags. His hair is meant to resemble the leaves on top of his sprout, and he wears a bandanna. This is my first time drawing camo, so please don't judge me too harshly.
