Hauntingly beautiful. I love the level of detail you've accomplished.

This is amazing. The idea is almost haunting, because in watching the show, there are times you can definitely see the emotional scars he carries from the people he's lost. (It took me a shamefully long time to figure out all six ) The detail in his hair and eyes especially is incredible, and I love it!

(also, know the scars idea is from Mass Effect makes it even more awesome. Those games are so fun. :3)

I find this rather disturbing, because I cannot imagine the Doctor cutting himself. If that's what's implied here. Other than that, great piece of art!

Oh no! it's just symbolic. This was actually done as a request for a friend who asked me to draw any character I wanted, but with added facial scars. Eleven is one of my favorite people to draw and that friend is a hardcore Whovian like me, so I chose him for the request.

Basically, I did it because it looks cool. But I did make sure there was a tiny bit of meaning.Β

Plus I've been playing way too much Mass Effect, where a lot of the cool characters have battle scars from things like taking missiles to the face and stuff.

Thanks, though!Β Β

Ahh okay then, heh. I still need to play Mess Effect.

You're welcome!

I totally agree, although I think this is actually more symbolic, if anything.Β  Β
