The image is a reasonably new one, by my standards; and that is a certain Mr. Young in the photograph. He was one of the bassists in a band that I was briefly part of. I'd two similar shots, and decided upon this one by the tossing of a coin. Very professional, yes? This has even spent a few months in deviation storage, before I brushed off the dust and tried fiddling with levels in Photoshop. I think it's almost deviation-worthy now.
Anyway, it was taken somewhere in the cellars of Newcastle; a rehearsal room, of sorts. We were capable of making a lot of noise, it's just a shame that it all unwound into dissonance.
This was paired with the words Arachnid Recollection for some time, and they are still entirely relevant to each other.

Sometimes, I wonder why I continue to read your posted words; more often than not, it's borderline torturous until I can detach you from them---and not for poor writing, by any means. Yet I still do.
^ that entire bit can be summed up in "BLAHBLAHBLAH. deblah."
(ur @ ur m8s flat, lol) (and I'm obviously going to go sleep soon)
I've been thinking though.
Maybe the trick isn't as simple as to keep breathing. I think, maybe, it'd be best if you kept writing, too. And making your noises.

I like this. It has a kind of painterly feel to it, and has a really nice palette you've caught.
To me, though, it doesn't seem like it's a picture about light and shadow as the title suggests, it's more like about light and motion - you've captured a lot of motion in there, you can tell the player wasn't just stationary, but active in his playing.
Nice shot.

Cheers for that, and for adding this to your favourites.
Yeah, I see what you mean. This image replaced another one that was here that had more contrast between light and dark. I know when I recently came across this on my hard drive the first throughts I had were arachnid ones.

Heh. Well. Intellectual praise aside, I'm afraid I must be a damning fan girl and mention that this just makes me happy. And thus, favourited.
