You all probably know Stanley Kubricks movie "The Shining" with Jack Nicholson, one of my favourite movies ever. This picture (and the follow up in two days) extremly reminded me of the strange hotel. Don't you feel so? Let me know!The strong colors resulted from manual white balance settings.

Looking at it... makes me feel unesy. But I can't look away. It's really unnerving. I definately would not like to be in there alone. The dark room at the end of the hallway is a great touch. THAT is terrifying.

How did you improved the quality and the image correction with Photoshop?

Oh, this is great! Love the lighting, too. I worked in a hotel once, but I quite due to being too freaked out every time I had to clean the upper story rooms with all those long hallways and empty rooms with no one around. I kept imaging the Grady twins or Danny on his big wheel coming around around the corner.

This is great a shot using perspective. I find it interesting how much florecent bulbs can flood a CCD with green.

I've seen the movie, but it was so long ago. I do remember the mansion they were in...that was a scary as I was only about 10 when I watched it. The colors is this photo are awesome. They all go together so well. Great job!
