Description Oh my gaaawd. I think Reef had a ref before he even appeared in the comic but Gore has gone with couple fast sketches as refs.

I guess most things are self-explanatory, pale white skin, grey hair and so on... The weight though, the 90kg is his normal weight, and 130kg is his weight while wearing full armor (but not weapons). He either wears the half leather-half chainmail undershirt he's already been seen in, or leather undershirt with chainmail shirt on top of it.

Also due to his race, he's pretty much incapable of losing enough fat to get properly ripped, so despite having shoulders like a pick-up truck and muscles like a bull, he doesn't look like a bodybuilder. He's also very resistant to cold and pretty much any temperature that's not cold is warmer than he'd really like.

The weapons are in scale, and a real bardiche isn't that long, but because Gore's most familiar killing stuff with a pike, it's a custom really long bardiche.

So then, technically speaking, he has the physique of an offseason bodybuilder or a circus strongman.

Since he lives in such cold weather, it would make sense to have some fat on him to store warmth. This is awesome!

Well, the comic takes place in the south so, he's not currently living in very cold weather... which kinda irritates him buuut..

He's kind of...um....well, cute. For want of a better word. I want to pat him on the head.

Hyperborean as in frost giant?

"Hyperborean as in frost giant?"
Ha ha, a really tiny giant with that height! No, Hyperborian (or Hyperborean) as in a race that lives really up north, the most northern place in this story universe, where the average temperature is -22 Fahrenheit/-30 Celsius mostly through the year. They're slightly magical, but still pretty much average humans.

That's why I was wondering.

I suppose I was thinking of the Hyperborean Giants in Greek mythology.

Though admittedly, a story about a really tiny giant would be probably pretty fun.

Ooh, I haven't heard of those, so I guess I'll have to search about it!

I have no idea why, but something about that face strikes me as hilarious. Perhaps it the size of it on top of that huge cartoony chest combined with that smug grin, I really don't know, but it's awesome.

Also, he's shorter than me, which makes him cute.

D'aww, thankies : D I'm really happy to hear that he actually does look funny.
Also he's way shorter than me so I was really mixed whether to make him so short but heck, there's a real shortage of actual short warrior guys (that are not Tolkien dwarfs). Now if I could actually make this visible in the comic itself...
